All of the New York Beauty blocks in this quilt, but not the layout are taken from Karen K Stone's
book 'New York Beauty'.
I challenged myself to make all the blocks from my stash but allowed
myself to buy fabric for the background and the borders.
The blocks are foundation pieced and
put together with curved seams. Nice points but the curved seams are a headache. I liked the
fact that all the blocks looked different because I have a low boredom threshold. I hope that the
result is pleasing to the eye.
