This quilt came about through my attendance at a patchwork group where another quilter called Gill suggested that the group work on a project, hence the title 'This ones for you Gill'.
The blocks are taken from the book 'Garden Stars' by Liz Schwartz and Stephen Seifert. I possibly wouldn't have chosen to do them myself but I gave it my best shot and they didn't turn out too bad. The blocks are all foundation pierced.
This One's for you Gill won a Judges Merit award at Quilts UK 2006 and a Judges Merit award at the Great Northern Quilt Show 2006.
