I purchased this Judy Niemeyer quilt pattern while on holiday in Canada, as I thought it would make a lovely souvenir of a great holiday, although I didn't purchase any fabric for it until I got home just in case I might need to buy some more and be unable to buy it.
The design is foundation pieced and I thought it was quite striking - it reminds me of a Phoenix rising out of the flames.
